Not only are we waiting with baited breath for David Attenborough’s Dynasties series to premiere on BBC 1 this weekend, then no sooner does another advert for another one of his excellent series emerge.

This time, Attenborough has teamed up with Netflix for an eight part series entitled ‘Our Planet’. The show has been shot in stunning 4K photography and will highlight the most precious species and fragile habitats across 50 countries across the world. It was directed by Alastair Fothergill, who was also behind Planet Earth and Blue Planet.
Basically, this is going to be absolutely epic like every other David Attenborough show, but I’ve gotta admit it’s some real shit hosiery from Netflix to drop the trailer a couple of days before the BBC’s Dynasties drops even though it isn’t going to be available until the 5th April next year. Real slick.
You can watch the trailer below and read what David Attenborough had to say about it below that as well:
Our Planet will take viewers on a spectacular journey of discovery showcasing the beauty and fragility of our natural world.
Today we have become the greatest threat to the health of our home but there’s still time for us to address the challenges we’ve created, if we act now. We need the world to pay attention.
Our Planet brings together some of the world’s best filmmakers and conservationists and I’m delighted to help bring this important story to millions of people worldwide.
Yeah no doubt that’s gonna be absolutely must see television around Easter weekend. Can’t wait, but at least we’ve got Dynasties to check out this weekend before all that. Check out the trailer to that right here.
